During the building process; GW Homes
sends progress reports to our clients
detailing important steps in construction
as well as many tips, guides and preparatory
material. This includes moving check
lists, closing pamphlets and important
numbers for services in the area you will
be moving to. If you have any questions
or need any recommendations, we are
there to assist you.
On the day of settlement,
you will meet with our Sales Agent and
Construction Manager to have one more
walk through of the home called the
Pre-Settlement Walkthrough.
The goal of this walkthrough is to check
the Two-Week Walkthrough items and verify
that the home is free from any concerns
or to document any open concerns at
that time.
After the Pre-Settlement
walk, you will meet with the Service
Coordinator for an orientation of your home. At
this time you will be given all the
manuals and product warranty information,
some last minute reminders, settlement
information you will need at the title
company, and important home warranty
information. The Service Coordinator
will go over the warranty and service
systems thoroughly and answer any questions
you have about your 10-year warranty
at that time.
At settlement, the
documents conveying the transfer of
your new home to you will be executed.
Once all of the documents have been
signed, and final payments have been
made, you will be given the keys to
your new home. Congratulations, you
are now the proud owner of a GW Home!
