We will
be happy to correct any Service Issues
one time during that first year of warranty
coverage as outlined in the 2-10 Homebuyers
Warranty, however after that, all cosmetic
work will be considered Service and
will be subject to a charge of time
and materials. It is suggested that
you hold all Service Items until the One Year Warranty
Check Up in order to avoid
service charges. GW HOMES determines
whether a defect exists by referring
to the standards found in the Residential
Construction Performance Guidelines
and the 2-10 Homebuyers Warranty. Examples
of cosmetic defects include drywall
cracks, discoloration in painting, grout
work, caulk cracking, etc.
Any work done by GW HOMES after the
One Year Warranty Period that is not
considered an Emergency Item is also
considered Service and will be subject
to a charge of time and materials.
