Service
We will be happy to correct any Service Issues one time during that first year of warranty coverage as outlined in the 2-10 Homebuyers Warranty, however after that, all cosmetic work will be considered Service and will be subject to a charge of time and materials. It is suggested that you hold all Service Items until the One Year Warranty Check Up in order to avoid service charges. GW HOMES determines whether a defect exists by referring to the standards found in the Residential Construction Performance Guidelines and the 2-10 Homebuyers Warranty. Examples of cosmetic defects include drywall cracks, discoloration in painting, grout work, caulk cracking, etc.

Any work done by GW HOMES after the One Year Warranty Period that is not considered an Emergency Item is also considered Service and will be subject to a charge of time and materials.

You may submit a request for service by filling out a Customer Service Request Form and submitting it to GW HOMES. You may fax your requests to 410-643-9131, or you may mail or drop off your request at our office at 202 St. Claire Place, Suite 100, Stevensville, MD 21666.
